Description

On Windows it seems the DLL is built, but no corresponding import library (LIB).

Edit: Should add the DLL seems to be installed into CMAKE_ARCHIVE_OUTPUT_DIRECTORY instead of CMAKE_RUNTIME_OUTPUT_DIRECTORY.

Research direction

Inspect the CMake configuration that assigns Windows DLL and import-library output directories, focusing on CMAKE_ARCHIVE_OUTPUT_DIRECTORY and CMAKE_RUNTIME_OUTPUT_DIRECTORY. Verify the Windows build and installation output, and confirm that both the DLL and corresponding LIB are placed in their intended locations.
