Description
There is currently no way to tell if an application has extra launch options available in the menu grid mode (which is the default), where the list mode features an arrow.
It would be nice to figure out a clean indicator that these are available, while staying in the same dimensions as the ones that don’t have it.

Research direction
The issue names no files or tests. Start by locating the panel menu's grid-mode application icon rendering and comparing it with the list-mode arrow behavior; done means extra launch options are visibly indicated without changing the dimensions of icons that have none.
