Description
I just wanted to gauge interest if a port to the Qt toolkit would be welcome, in the project.
I have been poking at it a bit, and just wanted to ask, before just dumping a gigantic PR on the project
This is by no means complete and I'm still working on it, and testing things, but if you wanted to have a look:
https://git.sr.ht/~sfalken/wcm-qml/tree/ssinterface
Some of this work is being done with the assistance of an LLM, just in the interest of full disclosure.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the Qt port work in the referenced wcm-qml ssinterface tree and compare its scope with the existing wcm project. Done would be a complete, tested port proposal or implementation that maintainers can evaluate, but this issue does not name project files or tests.
