Description
What is the feature you'd like to have?
I want lifters (and by extension, workflow actions) to be able to use intrinsic expressions beyond those specified by the Architecture. I want some way to represent an arbitrary/unspecified operation in the IL with a name/type/semantics as an IL expression.
Is your feature request related to a problem?
I want to write a pass transforming a pattern of IL expressions into a macro-like function, but it is not an existing symbol in the binary nor is it represented by an existing IL operation.
Are any alternative solutions acceptable?
Synthetic builtins are using a custom segment, adding symbols to every binary view, and using regular IL_CALL instructions. This has the downside of now you have to define these symbols in every binary view (and it's not very extensible).
