The freedesktop project recommands application on linux to use ~/.config (or the value in various environment variables) as a way to store configuration files instead of the legacy dotfiles. ( ~/.binaryninja/ ).

It would be nice for binary ninja to respect that recommandation at some point in the future, in order to declutter the home directory.
