Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
Have Stable 3.8.16 installed.
Have been keeping up with beta notes and noticed 3.8.25 had MSI Claw improvements. Installed and WiFi stopped working. Reverted back to stable and it was fine.
Noticed that 3.8.26 fixed the A1M wifi issue (see #2703) so I thought it would be fine on the 7AI+ as it’s essentially a refresh of the A1M. Installed and no WiFi again.
Rebooted system with no luck. Reverted back to stable on Ethernet and works fine again.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
- Install beta
- Wifi doesn’t work
- Revert back to stable
- WiFi works

Research direction
Start by comparing SteamOS beta 3.8.26 with stable 3.8.16 on the MSI Claw 7AI+, using the reproduction steps in this issue. Review the related A1M report in issue #2703 and determine what differs for the 7AI+; done means Wi-Fi works on beta 3.8.26 without reverting to stable.
