Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
In desktop mode on reboot, the volume icon on the taskbar seems to keep returning to the deck's speakers, even though it is not the audio device selected in the sound settings for output. Switching back and forth between output devices will momentarily have the icon display on the right device (usb dongle in this case) but a second or two later, it will switch away from that and resume displaying ACP Audio and its volume in that icon/slider.
Audio does play on the correct device.
I feel the icon should stay on the selected audio output device.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
- Have more than just the Deck's audio outputs connected and observe the taskbar volume icon in desktop mode.

Research direction
Reproduce this in SteamOS desktop mode after connecting a USB audio device, then compare the taskbar volume icon with the selected output in sound settings across a reboot and device switch. Done means the icon and volume slider remain on the selected output device while playback continues through that device.
