Symptoms

Constantly crashes instead of launching. The only log file I can find contains the following:

        Couldn't load EOSSDK dll: Module not found.

Reproduction

Simply launch the game. I've repeatedly tried to have Steam repair the game (and both versions of Proton), to no avail.

Also, searching for "proton eossdk crashes" online shows that several games have this problem, and this game has been unknowingly excluded from the patch.

Start by reproducing the crash when launching Steam AppID 627690 with Proton 6.3-8 or 7.0-6, then review steam-627690.log and the linked system information. The report identifies a missing EOSSDK DLL as the only logged symptom; done means establishing a Proton-side fix or a confirmed compatibility diagnosis that allows the game to launch.
