Symptoms

The game runs reasonably well in proton but randomly crashes in the middle of matches. The unity crash reporter pops up, cleans up, and then the whole thing exits.

Reproduction

Play for a while, it takes 5-10 matches generally to see it.

Start by reviewing the linked Proton log and crash_report.tar.gz, then reproduce the crash after 5–10 matches using Experimental, Proton 8.0-2, and GE-Proton-8-3. Done means identifying a reproducible cause or actionable compatibility finding from the logs and crash dump.
