I confirm:
- that I haven't found an existing compatibility report for this game.
- that I have checked whether there are updates for my system available.
Symptoms
The game shows only a black screen when steam is launched using discrete graphics. I can hear the audio just fine. It runs fine with integrated AMD graphics.
Note: There are games like Sabbat of the Witch which run fine with Nvidia + Proton, so it doesn't seem to be a general Nvidia + Proton issue as I initially imagined
Reproduction
Launch the game when steam is using dedicated Nvidia Graphics.
Additional Information
I have also opened issue in Flatpak repo since I am not sure if this is a flatpak specific issue.

Research direction
Start by reproducing The House in Fata Morgana with Proton Experimental while Steam uses the dedicated GTX 1650 Ti, then compare that behavior with integrated AMD graphics. Read the linked system information Gist and the related Flatpak issue; done means identifying the component responsible for the black screen and documenting or addressing the compatibility result.
