Symptoms

No text. And no sound unless on earlier Proton versions such as 6.3-8 or 5.13.6.

Reproduction

Launch the game. The start screen has no text, and no sound on latest Proton versions, and the opening, accessed with the first option, also has no visible text.

It seems fine in Windows 10, however.

Start by reviewing the attached steam-607040.zip logs for Proton Experimental and compare them with the Proton 7.0.6 and 5.13.6 reports. Reproduce by launching Grimoire Chronicles and verify that the start screen and opening display text and produce sound on the current Proton version.
