Symptoms

Game does not start, briefly flashing a white screen and then quitting

Reproduction

1. Install the game, press play.

Note: steam-92100.log shows it tries to access en-US/Detour.resources.dll (fails) then en/Detour.resources.dll. In the game directories, only the fr, ja and ko languages seem present. I briefly copied "fr" to a new "en" directory just to check if it would run this way, no change -- it loads the dll but still crashed the same way. After that attempt, I removed this directory.

Start with steam-92100.log and the reported language directories, especially the failed attempts to load en-US/Detour.resources.dll and en/Detour.resources.dll. Reproduce the launch failure with Proton 7.0-5 and determine the cause of the white screen and exit; done means DETOUR starts successfully under the reported environment.
