Symptoms
The game's video cutscenes aren't playing correctly. The screen is showing multiple overlaid images at different scales and with wrong colors. Only the left quarter of the image is visible, blown up to full screen width:

The videos are plain MP4 files (h264, 1920x1080, 24bpp) and play just fine with mplayer:

I saw the exact same issue with the last game I played ("Labyrinth City", 1421790). Both games are using the Unity engine.
Reproduction
Start a new game and complete the prologue (takes only a few minutes).
