Description

Using Proton Experimental, on Fedora 35.
Trying to use this modding program: https://github.com/CadeEvs/FrostyToolsuite
To launch with mods, it uses the mklink command in a batch file, but mklink prints a "fixme" tag when used with wine or proton experimental.
To reproduce the issue,
1-Extract the Editor/Mod Manager
2-Add it to steam as a non-steam game
3-Enable Proton Experimental
4-Launch the tool, select a Frostbite 3 game (Game compatibility list: https://pastebin.com/4fUxQvVL)
5-Hit launch at the top of the window
6-Error about being unable to create a symlink is produced

Research direction

Start with the listed Frosty Toolsuite reproduction steps under Proton Experimental on Fedora 35, focusing on the batch file's mklink invocation. Trace the mklink handling involved in launching a Frostbite 3 game and verify the result against the reported fixme output and inability to create a symlink.
