Symptoms

The game shows a black screen. Tested all available Proton after 5.13-6 (Lastest working version) (so 6.3-8 and Experimental as of 02/09/2022) and also Proton 7.1-GE2 on both Manjaro and Fedora 35 (both up to date as of writing). Also tried pulling DXVK 1.9.4 in Proton 5.13-6 but everything works as excepted so seems like DXVK is not the culprit.
