Description

Whitelist Request

  • Name of the game to be whitelisted: Wanderer
  • Steam AppID of the game: 1599560

System Information

  • GPU: Radeon RX 6900 XT
  • Driver/LLVM version: mesa-21.3.5-1
  • Distro version: Arch Linux
  • Link to full system information report as Gist: gist
  • Proton version: experimental-6.3-20220119

I confirm:

  • that pressing the Play button in the Steam client is sufficient.
  • that runtime config options are necessary to run the game.
  • that no workarounds other than PROTON_* env variables are necessary.

Issues

  • I haven't experienced any issues.
  • There are no issues left open for this game.
  • Although I consider the gaming experience equal to Windows there are remaining issues:

The game works very fine ootb with above setup. Played only ~30 minutes so far.

Research direction

The issue requests whitelisting Wanderer (Steam AppID 1599560) for Proton and reports that it works out of the box. No repository file or test is identified, so start by reviewing how comparable Proton whitelist requests are handled. Done means the game is accepted into the whitelist.
