Symptoms

In certain areas of the game, there is some really bad artifacts... The daycare is one place where you can really see the effect.
Reproduction
Notes:
- This issues only occurs when the game runs in DX12 mode, if you set
-dx11in theLAUCH OPTIONS, this issue does not appear. - I couldn't figure out a way to prove that DX12 was running, so I had to use mangohud.
- Start the game
- Create a new game or load up a current save.
- Get to the daycare.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the attached steam-747660.log and the reproduction steps for the daycare scene under DX12. Compare the artifact behavior with the documented -dx11 workaround; done means the daycare no longer shows the reported artifacts when the game runs in DX12 mode.
