Symptoms
Joining or creating a private lobby with voice chat enabled causes a crash. On the other hand, joining public lobbies (which have voice chat disabled) works fine.
Reproduction
- Launch game
- Click "Play"
- Click "Host Game"
- Click "Private"
- Enter a game name and press Create
More info/investigation
I think the problem might be related to the use of the Agora Voice SDK, since it only show up when the voice chat feature is enabled.

Research direction
Start by reviewing steam-1568590.log and the linked system information, then reproduce the crash by creating or joining a private lobby with voice chat enabled. Compare this with a public lobby where voice chat is disabled; done means the private-lobby voice-chat path no longer crashes under Proton.
