Symptoms

all input between keyboard and mouse suddenly stops working

Reproduction

if puase the game and leave it paused for a few minutes keyboard and mouse will randomly stop working and you'll have to alt-tab to get out of the game and close it.

Tried seeing if the issue exists on GE's latest proton version but didn't really test it to much because I didn't like that his version changes the res of my screen and even when I close the game I have to use the xrandr --size 1920x1080 command to change it back so going to try to stick with the regular proton version despite this issue but wanted to report it.

Start by reproducing the report with LEGO Star Wars III (Steam AppID 32510) on Proton 5.13.6, pausing the game for several minutes and checking whether keyboard and mouse input stops responding.
