As a minor detail, the game "launcher" appears like it's missing some assets:

I tried proton 5.13-5, proton experimental, proton 5.0-10. On proton 5.0-10, at least, alt-tab does not lead to game freeze.

• Observe extremely slow character movement, reaction to clicks.
