Description

System Information

  • GPU: RX 5600 XT
  • Driver/LLVM version: Mesa 20.3.0
  • Kernel version: 5.9.13-arch1-1
  • Link to full system information report as Gist

I confirm:

  • that I haven't found an existing compatibility report for this game.

steam-757210.log

Symptoms

  • Game doesn't play intro videos, or load to main menu (Solid Blackscreen, No Audio)
  • Playing with Proton GE MF patch the game gets to the main menu playing intro/videos but eventually stops loading structures, or objects/people and crashes, and video output is weirdly colored.

Reproduction

Launch the game

Research direction

Start by reviewing the linked steam-757210.log and full system information Gist, then reproduce the issue by launching EMERGENCY 4 Deluxe (757210). Compare the reported black screen, missing audio and loading crashes across the described Proton configurations. Done means the game reaches the main menu and loads its structures, objects and people without the reported failures.
