Symptoms

The game runs on Proton 5.0 without any video
on 5.13 doesn't pick up the graphics card (only uses iGPU) and no videos
on 5.9 GE after intro videos the game just output a black screen.

Reproduction

All the test where made by opening the Steam properties of the game, then forcing a compatibility tool version. After that $ rm -rfv .local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/941570/ to ensure a clean proton prefix.
The game is run with Nvidia environment variables for use with PRIME offload. Select DirectX 11 on selection screen each time.
