Symptoms
Intro audio playback for a couple of second while screen is black
Into audio stops, while screen stay black
Game menu does not appear, game stay on black screen
Reproduction
Install the game and try to start it with Proton 5.0-9
You also could find that if you delete Proton prefix and try to start game with Proton-5.11-GE-1-MF or Proton-5.11-GE-2-MF - you will get same black screen issue during game intro, but then game menu will appear and we will be able to start new game here. Although there will be rendering issues with both of WINED3D and DXVK.

Research direction
No source file or test is named. Start by reproducing the black-screen and intro-audio behavior with Proton 5.0-9, then review the linked Proton log and compare Proton 5.11-GE-1-MF or Proton 5.11-GE-2-MF, including the reported WineD3D and DXVK rendering issues. Done means the game reaches its menu and renders correctly.
