help running games by chillas art

Hi.. So I've been trying to play some games I have on steam by Chillas Art on my linux box. Its fully updated with 64bit Ubuntu 20.04 as of 7.11.20 fully updated drivers n all that. Im also using the latest proton which is 5.0.9 but I have tried forcing it to run in all the other versions of proton. Im in the steam beta client. I've tried playing every game i own by chillas art and none of them work :(

What happens is it'll say this uses proton u wanna run it ? I hit yis sir and the first time i run it it says stuff about directx 9 or something and then i get a little pop up with a loading bar with a picture that looks like its from the game and then when the loading bar finishes it closes and my steam client says its no longer running.. on some of the attempts at launching these games I've noticed that it has a Unity 2019 launcher if that helps. I've tried looking it up online and there isnt a whole lot that I could find about it on various searches that I've tried.

Theres pages like this where people say theyve been playing it on their linux boxes using proton (TheReaperUKs comment) so it should work right? I have the same i7 chip he does..
