I confirm:
- that I haven't found an existing compatibility report for this game.
- that I have checked whether there are updates for my system available.
Symptoms
- Instead of the main menu, the game presents a black screen. Menu music plays but it's otherwise unresponsive, game has to be forcibly quit. Disabling DXVK with PROTON_USE_WINED3D solves the issues.
- The game crashes when loading a savegame if option V-Sync is set to Yes in the Options menu.
- Disruptive visual glitches appear when achievements are unlocked, disabling the Steam Overlay solves the issues.
Reproduction
- Running the game with Proton 5.0-4 and no special environment variable set.
- Loading a savegame with V-Sync set to Yes.
- Unlocking an achievement with Steam Overlay enabled.

Research direction
No source file or test is identified in the report. Start by reviewing steam-318530.log and reproducing the three symptoms with Proton 5.0-4, then trace the relevant compatibility behavior. Done means the game reaches its menu, loads saves with V-Sync enabled, and displays achievements without visual glitches.
