Symptoms

Game cutscenes do not play. Blue background will only be on screen with music playing. These scenes are skippable and the game is playable despite this issue. I have tried adding media foundation dlls to the prefix, but this did not seem to change anything.

Reproduction

Play game, start new game, opening cutscene will be skippable but won't play. Can also trigger this scene again from the level selector menu.
Must be played with option PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 otherwise the level selector menu never loads.

No source file or test is named. Start by reproducing the opening cutscene and level-selector behavior with Proton 5.0-4, PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1, and the linked Proton log; investigate the compatibility failure shown there. Done means the cutscenes play and the level selector loads without the workaround.
