Description
Feature Request
I confirm:
- that I haven't found another request for this feature.
- that I have checked whether there are updates for my system available that
contain this feature already.
Description
Implement the project rpc-wine into proton. It would allow games who use the discord-rpc.dll library to display rich presence information into Discord.
This would also imply that the library should be added into VAC's whitelist to avoid false positive bans.
Justification [optional]
Seeing proton is focused on gaming, this would seem like a no brainer.
Risks [optional]
As described in Description, there's always a risk of triggering a VAC ban when messing with libraries.

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by reviewing the linked rpc-wine project and Proton's integration guidance, then identify where such a library belongs and how it can be validated. Done means rpc-wine is integrated and the stated VAC-whitelist concern is addressed.
