Symptoms

the launcher starts without problems
since proton 5.0 launching the actual game via launcher button there is a blackscreen (should be a video). nothing happens (not responding - force quit - even after minutes)

in proton 4.11 they blackscreen would have a grey bar and u could skip the screen with left mouse click or esc.
after that the game just works

Reproduction

see above... switching proton version does make it work again.

Start by reproducing the hang from the Panzer Corps launcher with Proton 5.0 and compare it with Proton 4.11, using the linked Proton log and system information report. Done means the game proceeds past the introductory video instead of showing a black screen and becoming unresponsive.
