Symptoms

This game crashes almost instantly with message "fatal error". This is because the intro videos. If you rename ChernobylGame/Content/Movies to something else it will load the main menu, however it would be cool to be able to see the intro. Attached Proton log is relevant to only this issue.
The next problem is after starting "new game" the screen will remain black but music will keep playing for a while, I don't think it's supposed to be like that. Anyways, after that nothing happens. Only the "free-play" mode is playable.

Reproduction

Just open the game.

Reproduce the crash by opening Chernobylite and review steam-1016800.log alongside the ChernobylGame/Content/Movies directory. Verify the separate black-screen behavior after starting a new game. Done means the intro videos no longer cause a fatal error and New Game progresses beyond the black screen.
