Symptoms

The game appears to launch and the cursor appears for what appears to be a single frame. Then the window goes black and the program deadlocks. UnityCrashHandler.exe ends up running in the background.

Reproduction

Install the game and launch it.

Start by reproducing the launch failure described in the issue with Edna & Harvey: The Breakout - Anniversary Edition under Proton 4.11, then inspect steam-959000.log alongside the linked system information report. Done means the game no longer opens to a black window and deadlocks, with UnityCrashHandler.exe not left running in the background.
