Research direction

Start with the linked steam-215830.log and reproduce the launcher failure using Proton 4.11-7 on the reported system. Investigate the Visual C++ R6016 error and launcher crash; the issue is done when Closers launches successfully and Steam no longer treats the crashed process as running.
