Symptoms
GamePad input is doubled, due to the game using a DirectInput wrapper on top of XNA's standard XInput support.
Reproduction
- Plug in Xbox controller
- Start game
- Navigate menus with D-pad
- Cursor is updated twice in one frame, a single menu entry is skipped on each input.

Research direction
No source file or test is named. Start by reproducing the doubled D-pad input with an Xbox controller on Proton 4.11-7, then trace the DirectInput and XInput interaction described in the report; done means each input advances the menu by one entry rather than skipping one.
