Symptoms

Requires to be set to WinXP on bsp.exe and battlestationspacific.exe

This gets us to the black screen. The black screen is due to Xbox's app not being installed, which can be found here: Xbox App

Reproduction

1. Starting the game without setting the compatibility will launch the game and immediately crash
2. Setting the game's compatibility with winecfg to WinXP on bsp.exe and battlestationspacific.exe will bring us to the black screen
3. Everything else is an issue with the game, or what the game's package is pushing. Potentially it is pushing a missing dependency for the Xbox

Done would require identifying a specific Proton compatibility cause and confirming that Battlestations: Pacific launches past these symptoms.
