Research direction
Start by reproducing Nine Parchments (Steam AppID 471550) with Proton 4.11-5 and review the reported system information. Inspect the listed options.txt file, especially the OnBatteryRenderingQualityReduction setting, and compare behavior with and without it. Done means identifying a reproducible Proton-side cause or confirming the 30 FPS lock is resolved.
