Symptoms

Starting the game in fullscreen mode show only a black screen instead of the intro movie and then the game screen also gets black although the cursor appears.

Reproduction

• Install the game, start it.
• If you change launch options to "--options fullscreen=false" it works, but gets pitifully small at 1024x768 only and can't be changed.
• Also tried turning off esync, tried forced windowed mode by using protontricks winecfg, same thing.

Start by reviewing steam-289500.log and reproducing UFO: Aftershock with Proton 4.11-1 in fullscreen and with "--options fullscreen=false". Done means the intro movie and game screen render in fullscreen, with the game's resolution no longer limited to the small windowed mode.
