Description
I tried running Destination Primus Vita - Ep. 1 through Proton and while it launches and plays the intro cut scene is just black with text. There is no errors or anything, and the gameplay itself has an image once it starts. The Steam AppID of the game is 680750. I added PROTON_LOG=1 %command% to the game's launch and got the following log (it was over 10MB so I had to compress it):

Research direction
The report points to Steam AppID 680750, Proton 4.2-9, and steam-680750.log.tar.gz; start by reproducing the black intro on the listed Manjaro/Mesa setup and inspecting that log. Compare the intro rendering with gameplay using the supplied system information and screenshot. Done means the intro renders correctly under Proton or the limitation is documented with confirmed evidence.
