Reproduction

1. Install Modern Combat 5 on Steam
2. Since I have a GTX 570, set the launch options to 'PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%' , otherwise the game crashes before opening the game window.
3. Launch the game
4. Observe it gets as far as the first loading screen and the progress bar goes to 10% and then the game crashes.
5. Try other options such as disabling esync and observe that the game still crashes in the exact same place.
