Symptoms

In any battle that Zero-K needs to download a new map, it takes several minutes. Is NOT a connection problem, cause if I launch Zero-K from Lutris, the maps download is fast and takes less than 60seconds despite the map is large.

Research direction

The report names no source file, test, or entry point. Start by reproducing the Zero-K map download through Proton and comparing it with the Lutris launch described in the report, using the supplied Linux and hardware details. Done would require identifying and resolving the cause of the download-time difference.
