Description

Whitelist Request

  • Name of the game to be whitelisted: Sylvio
  • Steam AppID of the game: 362860

System Information

Distro: Linux Mint 19.1 Tessa (64 bit)
GPU: Vega 56
Driver/LLVM version: Mesa 19.1.0-devel/9.0.0
Kernel version: 5.0.9-050009-generic
Proton version: 4.2-3

I confirm:

  • that pressing the Play button in the Steam client is sufficient.

  • that runtime config options are necessary to run the game.

  • that no workarounds other than PROTON_* env variables are necessary.

  • Game works out of the box, with similar performance as Windows

  • Nintendo Switch Pro controller works

  • No problems to alt+tab between desktop/game.

  • No problem switching between fullscreen and windowed

  • No problem minimizing/maximizing the game

  • Jumping/Floating Unity engine mouse pointer issues are no longer present

From my experience this game has now parity with how it plays on Windows. On recent Proton versions I haven't spotted any issues that aren't already present in the game in the first place (and I have completed the whole game on Windows before).

Issues

  • I haven't experienced any issues.
  • There are no issues left open for this game.
  • Although I consider the gaming experience equal to Windows there are remaining issues:
