  • Steam AppID of the game: 633360

System Information

Distro: Linux Mint 19.1 Tessa (64 bit)
GPU: Vega 56
Driver/LLVM version: Mesa 19.1.0-devel/9.0.0
Kernel version: 5.0.7-050007-generic

I confirm:

  • that I haven't found an existing compatibility report for this game.
  • that I have checked whether there are updates for my system available.

Symptoms

Game works fine except that all of the cut-scenes are skipped.

I spotted some mfplat stuff in the logs, also included mediainfo of one of the cut-scene videos.

Reproduction

Just launch and start the game, jumps straight into gameplay.

Research direction

Start by reviewing steam-633360.log and media_info.txt, focusing on the reported mfplat entries and the cut-scene media details; system_info.txt records the environment. Reproduce the launch and verify that the game's cut-scenes play instead of being skipped under the reported Proton setup.
