Description

Whitelist Request

  • Name of the game to be whitelisted: Bombshell
  • Steam AppID of the game: 353190

System Information

I confirm:

  • that pressing the Play button in the Steam client is sufficient.
  • that runtime config options are necessary to run the game.
  • that no workarounds other than PROTON_* env variables are necessary.

Issues

  • I haven't experienced any issues.
  • There are no issues left open for this game.
  • Although I consider the gaming experience equal to Windows there are remaining issues:

With previous Proton versions the game doesn't even start, but with Proton 4.2-3 it works like a charm. Tested the DX9 and DX11 renderer with medium detail at 1080p and everything was perfect. Performance with DX11 rendered is better.

I have played less than 1 hour without a single problem.

Research direction

No source file or test is named. Start by checking how Proton records game whitelist or compatibility reports; the issue provides Bombshell, Steam AppID 353190, and Proton 4.2-3 results. Done means the game is recorded as working without extra runtime options.
