Description

Whitelist Request

  • Name of the game to be whitelisted: Adventures of Pip
  • Steam AppID of the game: 303550

System Information

I confirm:

  • that pressing the Play button in the Steam client is sufficient.
  • that runtime config options are necessary to run the game.
  • that no workarounds other than PROTON_* env variables are necessary.

Issues

  • I haven't experienced any issues.
  • There are no issues left open for this game.
  • Although I consider the gaming experience equal to Windows there are remaining issues:

I just used a workaround to use my xbox controller because it continue went to left or right but it look like it's a "game" issue (https://steamcommunity.com/app/303550/discussions/0/615086038673317040/). I never played the game on Windows so I not know if I would have the same issue.

Research direction

Start by reading the Proton repository's whitelist guidance and checking how Steam AppIDs are represented. Confirm that Adventures of Pip (AppID 303550) launches successfully with the reported Proton version and that the controller behavior is not a Proton issue; the whitelist entry is complete when the game is recorded as supported.
