LEGO Harry Potter Years 1 - 4 (21130)

FIX FOR THE BUG IS
went to steam > Right click on Lego Harry Potter > properties > set launch options

and typed

unset LC_ALL && %command%

Symptoms : i cant load my old save games and i cant start a new game that will save.

My only option is to play the game without the ability to save anything

The game runs fine but it wont save anything

These are the errors

When i go to load my game i get the error

"No LEGO Harry Potter Years 1 - 4 Data Present"

When i go to start a new game i get

"Failed to Save"

The game offers to play without saving and plays fine.

Reproduction

When i first got the game a few months ago everything was working fine..
Around 1 month ago the game just stopped allowing me to load save games and didnt allow me to start a new game that i could save.

Start by reviewing the attached steam-21130.log and the reported reproduction steps for LEGO Harry Potter Years 1–4 on Proton 3.16-4 Beta. Confirm whether save and load fail without the LC_ALL launch option; done means the game can create and load saves normally without that workaround.
