Symptoms

The game actually starts up fine and is fully playable. However there are graphical glitches which can be very annoying after a while. When the camera moves, and even more often when it turns, the game starts to flicker between two renders. The correct render and the wrong, darker one.

Reproduction

When in game turn the camera, much easier to reproduce when in the 3rd person camera, like in the screenshots.

Start by reviewing steam-65530.log and the linked system information report, then reproduce the camera-turning flicker with Proton 3.16-3. Done means identifying a confirmed compatibility cause and addressing the incorrect darker render without breaking the game's otherwise playable state.
