Symptoms

Window opens but remains gray and has to be force quit.

Reproduction

Start High Fidelity client.
I did open the client some weeks ago and it worked. So either it made an update that broke it, or you did. Since it was working then I did not bother to remember which version of Proton I was at the time, sorry about that.

Start by reviewing the attached steam-390540.log files and the linked system information, then reproduce the gray-window lockup with Proton 3.7-8 by starting High Fidelity client. Done means the client starts without remaining gray or requiring a forced quit, with the result verified on the reported system.
