Description

Whitelist Request

  • Name of the game to be whitelisted: Fall Of Light
  • Steam AppID of the game: 633950

System Information

I confirm:

  • that pressing the Play button in the Steam client is sufficient.
  • that runtime config options
are necessary to run the game.
  • that no workarounds other than the mentioned ones are necessary.

Issues

  • I haven't experienced any issues.
  • There are no issues left open for this game.
  • Although I consider the gaming experience equal to Windows there are
    remaining issues:

This game requires LLVM 7, otherwise the GPU will hang. I tried it previously with LLVM 6 and the game crashed my system on the loading screen.

When quitting the game crashes: you need to ALT-TAB and press the button on the window that is open.
I played it a bit and everything seems to work as expected with good performance.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the reported system information and testing Fall Of Light (Steam AppID 633950) with Proton 3.7-7. Verify the LLVM 7 requirement, the loading-screen stability, and the crash on quitting. Done means the game is whitelisted with its remaining compatibility notes accurately recorded.
