Description

Compatibility Report

  • Name of the game with compatibility issues: Final Fantasy XI
  • Steam AppID of the game: 230350

System Information

I confirm:

  • that I haven't found an existing compatibility report for this game.
  • that I have checked whether there are updates for my system available.

Symptoms

Controller inputs are not detected in the controller config program. However, input works ingame.

Reproduction

Starting from a fresh install, the default controller config program correctly detects the XOne controller, however the triggers are not detected. Updating the game renders the controller unusable in the config program.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the controller-config behavior for Final Fantasy XI (Steam AppID 230350) with a fresh install and Proton 3.7-6, comparing detection before and after the game update. Use the supplied system information report as context; done means the XOne controller, including its triggers, is detected and usable in the updated configuration program.
