Symptoms

Game is working 99% without problem, but there is one noticable graphics bug. Mouse cursor is not transparent, it always has black square background. You can play it, but it just does not look so good.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the cursor issue in Runaway: A Twist of Fate (Steam AppID 58560) under Proton 3.7-6, using the compatibility report and linked video as references. No source file, test, or entry point is named; done means the in-game cursor renders transparently without the black square background.
