Description
I'm running the "default public version" of the game last updated 8/11/26.
I'm getting crashes with Satisfactory (but not other games, and yes I'm reporting that separately :-) and I wanted to enable debugging symbols, but the documentation at docs/DEBUGGING-LINUX.md is out of date. The "debugging-stripped" is not listed. Please update with the current process.
Thanks guys!
P.S. You enabled me to finally able to drop Windows for Linux for gaming! I love how much of Steam "Just Works" (TM) on Linux. I hope you have no idea what it was like in ye olden times. :-)

Research direction
Start by reading docs/DEBUGGING-LINUX.md and verify the current process for enabling debugging symbols, including the missing "debugging-stripped" option. Done means the document accurately describes the current process for Linux Proton debugging and includes that option.
