Description
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
No.
Describe the solution you'd like
I’d like to be able to use VSCodeVim in the GitHub Copilot Chat input panel in VSCode, not just in the code editor.
Describe alternatives you've considered
None.
Additional context
The Zed editor’s Vim mode works in the chat input, which is really cool. Could we also have this in Copilot?

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by examining how VSCodeVim handles keybindings in the existing editor and how VS Code exposes the Copilot Chat input panel; define done as Vim mode working in that input without breaking normal chat editing.
